About Our Ministry
We educate people on the power of the word of God, to reveal the strategies of the enemies of God, to unveil the spiritual weapons from God, to give hope to the people of God, all for the glory of God.
We stand on James 2:21-22 (NLT): “Don’t you remember that our ancestor Abraham was shown to be right with God by his actions when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see, his faith and his actions worked together. His actions made his faith complete.”
Statement of Beliefs
The Scriptures Inspired | The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thess 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)
The One True God | The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent “I AM,” the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; Isa 43:10-11; Matt 28:19)
Jesus is God’s Only Son | The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. (Matt 1:23; Heb 7:26;
1 Peter 2:22; Acts 10:38)
The Fall of Man | Man was created good and upright; for God said, “Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness.” However, man by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God.
(Gen 1:26, 27; 2:17; 3:6; Rom 5:12-19)
The Salvation of Man | Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. Salvation occurs when we accept that Jesus as our Lord and savior followed by Baptism.
(Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Acts 2:38, Rom 10:13-15; Eph 2:8; 4:24)
From Business Guy to Ministry Guy
Steve Hemphill
Speaker – Author – Spiritual Warrior
My prayer is to teach people about spiritual warfare, heaven and the power of prayer as it teaches in the scriptures.
It all started when…
Steve Hemphill was born and raised in the small, Central Texas town of Mason. He attended Abilene Christian University with a marketing degree in 1979. He put that talent to work by establishing and running his own technology company in the Northeast Texas area for 28 years. He built that business to 35 employees and $6 million in annual revenue before becoming the author of My Search for the Real Heaven. This book was the direct result of Steve finding a sealed envelope addressed to him in his father’s safe after his dad passed away. It instructed Steve to destroy the sealed envelope without
opening it.
After the release of his book on heaven, Steve began traveling and speaking all over the country on heaven. This led to a second book, My Search for Prayers Satan Hates, which is focused on spiritual warfare and the power of prayer. Through his growth in understanding of spiritual warfare and the implementation of “staking” the land, Steve has now published What Are The Stakes?, and 12 Spiritual Weapons. The last two books have been published in Spanish and Steve has also recorded a lecture series called “Demons vs. Prayer.”
Steve sold his business in 2009 and went full-time into ministry. He gets no salary and charges no fee to come speak. God has faithfully provided for him. Steve has spoken in almost 200 cities in 18 states and 3 countries since becoming an author and teacher.
He has a passion for ministry and people, and loves to share his “God Stories.” His prayer is to teach people about spiritual warfare, heaven, and the power of of prayer.
Steve and his wife, Mary Lynn, have three adult children and two awesome grandkids! They love to spend time with their family or roll out their camper and hit the campground!
Charli Caraway
Speaker – Author – Prayer Warrior
My desire is to teach people how to practically apply the word of God in every day life. I love to teach on identity and inner healing because it makes us stronger in spiritual warfare!
It grew when…
Charli Caraway was born and raised in Texas and Louisiana. She is a writer, editor, speaker, leader, life coach and change agent. Affectionately known as “Dr. Charli”, she loves to ‘keep it real’ with humor in leadership and personal development which has gained her the recognition of being a ‘velvet hammer’.
In 2008, Dr. Charli left her position as a Director and Instructor at LeTourneau University to enter full-time ministry. She became an advocate and liaison for women and children in crisis as the Founder and Director of a long-term transitional home for homeless single mothers. That women’s shelter became one of the first in Texas to get “staked”!
In 2018, Dr. Charli entered into writing and publishing in order to assist others who wanted to share their redemption stories. She also started assisting Steve more and more. By 2020, Dr. Charli became a member of the Board of Directors and helped the ministry rebrand. She became the Executive Director for Active-Faith in 2021.
Her passion is incorporating the word of God into everyday life. Her vision is to equip the world to do the same. She is a modern-day Jael ready to stand for God’s people against the enemy, helping others live a fulfilled life through scripture and faith. She believes in empowering people in their own journey. She is the author of The Wounded Warrior and has a podcast called “Battleplan for the Wounded Warrior.”
She and her husband, Rodney, live in East Texas. They have five adult children (plus one son-in-love), two beautiful granddaughters and a spoiled dog. When they aren’t working, they love to travel, go camping, and indulge in back-road exploration.
Laura McDaniel
Laura McDaniel was raised in New Mexico and moved to Texas in April of 2018. She has been a paramedic and in EMS for 22 years. She is also a real estate agent. Through the miraculous gift of a spiritual warfare stake on an emergency call, the trajectory of her life changed. Soon after, she experienced several traumatic events in which God revealed His sovereign call on her life. In 2019, Laura realized she’d been living a lost and empty life.
She completely dedicated her life to Christ in 2020. Since 2021, she has served Active-Faith with excitement and dedication. She and her three amazing kids live in Longview, Texas where they all attend church and stay busy with sports. When Laura isn’t serving others through work and ministry, she loves to be on her boat swimming and fishing with the kids, or watching the kids play sports.
